Forza Horizon 5, (https://kotaku.com/forza-horizon-5-the-kotaku-review-1847989847) which launched over four years ago on Xbox and PC, is making the leap (https://kotaku.com/console-wars-are-over-ps5-xbox-forza-switch-2-sony-1851752956) to PlayStation 5 soon (https://kotaku.com/forza-horizon-5-ps5-port-xbox-starfield-open-world-1851751842) , but because it's 2025, the game will lock "early access" to Xbox's open-world driving sim behind a pricey special edition. It's the next evolution in publishers holding games hostage for extra money.
